Page Finish

Haven't posted for a while but that's because I've been flitting between projects and had limited stitching time so no pages complete :-(. Until today!!!

Porthole of Fantasy 1 now has two pages complete. I just scraped in to get it finished before 6 week goal, which is today.

Going to work on the BB SAL for a while now.

Peek a boo

I've been working on Porthole of Fantasy 1 since my finger has healed enough to stitch. I'm doing this as a SAL on FB. We are are doing a page every 6 week and not posting pics till the target dates. The first page needs to be done for 12th February. Hopefully I'll be done by the end of the week.

Here's a sneaky peek at how's she's looking.

SK Trick or Treat

I finally got back to where I was before the restart and a little bit more. I have done a quarter of a page as of Monday.

I've now got Porthole of Fantasy 1 back out to try and complete the page. If seems like such huge blocks of colour after the SK. Unfortunately I managed to slam my finger in a car door today so stitching is is going to be impossible for a few days at least :-(

Here's how SK ToT is looking.

SK Trick or Treat

I was doing quite well with this design until I decided I wasn't totally happy doing 2x1 tent stitch on 28ct with all the confetti that's in this piece.

I ripped it all out and have restarted it Friday doing 1x1 full crosses. I'm much happier with it and my fingers are more than happy that they are no longer being pierced by the needle while trying to work it through the fabric.

The top pic is how it was looking before and the bottom is how it's looking after 2 days of stitching. I started at the bottom of the page this time.
